POYNTON PISTONS BASKETBALL CLUB
SMS BASKETBALL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
SMS and Cheshire East Sports Development team have teamed together to provide local residents an opportunity to play and compete in a local basketball league.
New sessions have been developed at Poynton High School for both primary and secondary school pupils to come down at play basketball in a safe and rewarding enviroment.
All sessions are delivered by qualified level 2 and Level 1coaches from the England Basketball Association.

- 7yrs-11yrs Primary School & 12yrs-16yrs secondary school
- £3 per session
Poynton Pistons
- 5pm-6.30pm
- Wednesdays
- Poynton Leisure Centre
- 14-18 yrs
- £4 per session

All sessions in both groups will consist of skills and technique development, and also competative matches. As we are in the process of the development of a local Cheshire East Basketball League.
SMS IN SCHOOL BASKETBALL PROGRAMMES
SMS currently coach basketball accross Stockport and Cheshire in local schools to help develop school teams and also to provide pupils with new and exciting sessions to introdce them into a new sport which they have may not have played before.
Our sessions are all delivered by EBA Level 2 coaches and focuss on learning the FUNdamentals of the game in a safe and rewarding enviroment.
SMS will be more than happy to come in to your school and deliver a taster session to introduce our kind and dedicated staff to your school.
