Through the SMS & PJFC link we have helped Poynton High School acheive the prestgious 'Charter Standard' award for it's football provision and are aiding all local primary schools to acheive their own through our in-school programes.

SMS & PJFC CREATE A COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP TO PROVIDE ALL LOCAL PRIMARY SCHOOLS WITH FREE IN-SCHOOL COACHING.

Football mad youngsters could be soccer stars of the future with help of a new grassroots programme in the village. SMS & PJFC have created a partnership which holds teaching sessions at local primarys for 4-12 yr olds at NO cost to the school. PJFC was recently awarded the Charter Standard Communtiy Club award for it excellant provision for its development and opportunities in football for girls and boys in the local community.

SMS & PJFC have developed a new 'Girl's' Football programme for Primary and Secondary Schools. (see SMS Community page for details)

This will provide a pathway for local soccer mad youngsters to a football club who make it a priority to develop, encourage and provide opportunites for all ages.

NEW GIRLS FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT CENTRE

SMS, PJFC & Poynton High School are creating a 'NEW' Girls Football Development Centre commencing in June 2010.

The course will be open for the Poynton feeder primary schools girls yr 3-6 and also the high school girls yrs 7-11 with groups split accordingly.
